    The diameter must be slightly smaller than 6" diameter that it can be moved up and down, but how does this not allow smoke to escape? This pipe does 'slip' inside the existing pipe, correct? The 1.5" overlap you mention is the collared end that connects to the crimped end of the existing pipe?
