    George from Richmond, VA asks:
There is a ventless, Majestic, gas log unit in a house we have some responsibility for and where an elderly neighbor lives. We don't have any documentation, but we saw the name Majestic written on a bill in the records. There is a square valve next to the hearth. However, when we turn the value counter clockwise as far as possible, the pilot light does not go out. Is there a separate control to turn off the gas to the pilot light? I'll attach a picture of the unit. How can we stop the pilot light from burning all summer?
